The course is designed to test knowledge and provide the necessary tools for participants, so that on completion of the course, they have a sound understanding of formalities of Trademarks, domains, copy rights and design, in addition to official procedures.

It will explain the basic principles of Intellectual Property Law and the nature and scope of these rights, the procedures, both national and supranational, for the granting and recognition of the rights, and mechanisms for enforcement as well as defences against enforcement.

The objectives of the training course are to familiarize the participants with the emerging concepts, current international trends and other topical matters of significance in the field of industrial property administration.

It will also provide an opportunity to the participants to exchange views and concerns on critical industrial property issues, and enhance their professional knowledge and capabilities in order to enable them to play key roles in the administration of industrial property in their respective countries.
