Course overview
Time and money impose limits on project delivery. Planning has to work within those limits while accounting for quality, available resources and risk. The course examines estimates at different stages of a project and the methods used to calculate an overall timescale and cost plan that fits the project's constraints.
Estimates contain uncertainty. Delegates examine how to identify and analyse risks, establish proactive responses and use issue management when problems arise. Schedule and cost measurements then provide a basis for analysing variances and their effects. The outline also addresses reactive responses and corrective action to protect the agreed project limits.
