Course overview

Organisations face frequent change, and their stability depends on how well they adapt. While some companies struggle to keep up, those with an agile approach use shifting circumstances to improve their operations and find new opportunities. Agility must reach across the whole business, from project execution to daily operations and corporate strategy.

This course sets out the foundations of business agility. First, delegates examine their own habits. They then explore how to make effective decisions under uncertainty and streamline their processes to match a dynamic environment. The programme moves from developing personal adaptability to applying agile methods in a team setting.

Over the five days, attendees study lean principles, complexity theory, and specific frameworks like Scrum and Kanban. They leave with a personal plan to replace rigid thinking with more responsive approaches, helping their departments operate more efficiently and deliver better value to customers.

Course objectives

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

  1. Grasp the principles of an agile mindset, including pragmatism and contextual adaptation
  2. Explain the practices that build agility into everyday work
  3. Recognise and adjust personal or organisational habits that block flexibility
  4. Apply specific techniques to replace rigid thinking patterns with responsive ones
