Course overview

Companies generate massive amounts of unstructured data. This forces finance teams to spend days moving numbers from ERPs and databases into spreadsheets for monthly reports.

This syllabus teaches business and finance professionals how to speed up the reporting process by pushing MS Excel to its limits. The sessions move well beyond basic formulas to cover data normalisation, advanced pivot tables, and scenario modelling.

The syllabus shows delegates how to link their spreadsheets directly to Access, SQL, and text databases to stop manual data entry. The final days introduce macros to automate routine reconciliations. Overall, the training gives staff the practical skills to clean noisy data faster and build management reports that update themselves.
