Organisational Development (OD) can support HR's contribution as a strategic business partner. The programme examines its definition, conceptual framework and applications, and how an OD strategy can be translated into action. Human resources development (HRD) is considered in relation to helping people and organisations manage change, beginning with needs identification and an assessment of readiness.
Data informs intervention. Delegates develop collection tools, conduct interviews and facilitate feedback before analysing information and presenting observations. Big data, agreement and priorities are addressed alongside a collection plan. Strategy work uses SWOT, vision, mission and strategic goals, with competency, compensation and performance perspectives informing OD plans.
