Course overview
Operational teams collect large volumes of raw transactional data, yet decision-makers frequently struggle to extract actionable meaning from unstructured spreadsheets. Accurate interpretation requires structured cleaning, sound statistical foundations and disciplined visual presentation. The course equips analytical staff with repeatable methods to transform complex data tables into clear executive intelligence.
The programme progresses from foundational data preparation through to advanced presentation techniques. Delegates inspect spreadsheet formulas and statistical measures such as mean, median and variance in Excel. They explore exploratory data workflows, test relationships between variables, and assemble visual dashboards across modern business intelligence platforms including Power BI and Tableau.
Delegates practise analytical storytelling, write automated reporting macros, and run scenario models. In final syndicate sessions, delegates present commercial findings directly to simulated stakeholder panels.
