Course overview

Stakeholder expectations need attention. Delegates work on identifying and categorising stakeholders, then setting out engagement strategies in a register and management plan that supports their involvement in project decisions and activities. APM and PMI definitions provide a starting point alongside a practical definition of project stakeholders.

Interest and influence guide the analysis. Delegates examine power matrices, communication channels and the challenges of engaging stakeholders virtually, including difficult relationships and conflict. Psychometric assessments and group work accompany the material on leadership styles, the leadership matrix and situational leadership. Negotiation sessions address mindsets, coalitions and the stages of a win-win negotiation process.
