Organisational Development (OD) addresses transformation by aligning roles, responsibilities and structural models with strategic goals. Delegates diagnose development issues, redesign workflows and consider change initiatives grounded in OD principles. Clarity helps identify role duplication and ambiguity, while structure and accountability are examined in relation to agility, innovation, efficiency, engagement and future growth.
Roles need agreement. Work on expectations and alignment uses RACI and related tools, job design, profiles and accountability charts. KPIs connect roles with behavioural expectations. Structure analysis considers gaps, reporting lines, spans of control and functional and cross-functional teams, including the requirements of digital transformation. Diagnostic approaches use artificial intelligence (AI), data and feedback to inform interventions and their evaluation.
Change leadership connects design with adoption. Lewin and Kotter models inform intervention planning, resistance management and communication. Delegates consider change readiness across departments, facilitate role discussions and prepare roadmaps and stakeholder engagement approaches. Leaders' work includes transformation and AI implementation. Presentations, cases, exercises and interactive discussions support applications; later sessions examine talent development, feedback, adaptability and long-term evaluation as OD becomes part of HR and leadership practice.
