Government activity takes place within legal and regulatory frameworks that require compliance. Supporting the rule of law also involves public trust. Day 1 introduces national and global governance frameworks and the principles of legal adherence, with cases of compliance's effects on trust. Laws, regulatory processes and policy implementation follow on Day 2, including tools for monitoring and assessment and examples of complex legal requirements.

Delegates assess legal risks on Day 4, then examine breach mitigation, investigations, corrective actions and engagement with legal and regulatory authorities.
