Course overview

Total rewards and human capital analytics are 2 subject areas within a wider 8-part HR management curriculum. This course brings them together in 12 modules over 5 days. Rewards include direct and indirect remuneration used to attract, recognise and retain workers: base pay, benefits, incentives, leave, perquisites and retirement arrangements. Delegates follow the steps for designing, implementing, administering and maintaining a compensation system in line with business needs, mission and vision. Communication matters when plans begin or change.

Human capital analytics, sometimes called predictive analytics, examines evidence that HR can bring to organisational decisions. Data, information and knowledge differ. Delegates consider which information to identify and prioritise, how to gather and analyse relevant HR metrics, and how to communicate findings that have implications across the organisation. The analytics content includes standards and measures, maturity assessment and current trends. Entry requires no prerequisites and is possible at any time; discussions, activities, cases and toolkit development accompany a reinforcement post-test at the end of each module.
