Course overview

Managers make decisions under uncertainty while trying to improve performance across their functions. This course examines AI from that management perspective, including its uses in forecasting, financial decisions and risk management. Delegates consider which tools support business judgement and how to retain human oversight when using them.

Data provides the basis for insight. The five days begin with organisational readiness and the role of AI in business, then address analysis and bias reduction before moving into strategy and operational performance. Sessions also examine tools for team and people performance, customer insight and stakeholder decisions.

Responsible use remains part of leadership. Delegates discuss governance and ethical oversight, then consider a strategy and roadmap for introducing AI into management practice. The final sessions examine future trends and their implications for managers.
