Course overview

Modern organisations face problems too complex for single managers to solve alone. The traditional top-down approach often disconnects managers from the staff they rely on. This causes productivity to stall. To succeed in this environment, leaders need to draw on the collective experience of their teams.

This course shifts the focus from directing staff to coaching them. Delegates learn how to challenge existing assumptions. They use 'Imagineering' to design new business models and build a workplace where people want to contribute. The five days cover relationship awareness, emotional intelligence and the specific strategies needed to guide teams through unpredictable periods of change.

The programme includes psychometric exercises. These help delegates evaluate their current competence and set clear goals for their return to work.

Course objectives

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

  1. Evaluate current competence and build a strategy for personal and organisational development
  2. Apply Relationship Awareness Theory to engage and manage staff
  3. Use Imagineering and other creative tools to innovate and inspire the team
  4. Guide departments through periods of change to improve the business
  5. Model emotionally intelligent behaviour to build trust and influence colleagues
  6. Design a positive working environment that encourages staff to take ownership
