Course overview

Modern management requires a sophisticated approach to handle disruptive change and information overload. Many organisations lack the internal support to help supervisors manage these pressures. Managers often end up facing complex interpersonal dynamics without the right tools to fix them.

This programme addresses the reality of management in an uncertain environment. It explores the psychological theories behind workplace behaviour. Delegates look at how their own communication styles affect their teams in practice. The content moves from defining the managerial role to diagnosing team dysfunction and managing conflict.

The five-day agenda covers the Thomas Kilmann conflict model alongside the Kaizen philosophy of continuous improvement, looking at how to apply these frameworks to everyday problems in their own departments. They practice giving constructive feedback. The sessions combine theory with reflection, ensuring managers leave with a clear plan to adjust their practice and raise their team's performance.
