Course overview

Senior leaders examine privacy obligations when organisations implement AI. The five days connect data governance with privacy protection, using examples of how organisations manage information and assess the risks of AI projects. Saudi Arabia's PDPL and international frameworks provide the regulatory context.

Classification and impact assessments inform the choice of data protection controls. Delegates consider adaptive governance and strategic privacy management, including personal liability, then examine how these approaches support privacy-compliant initiatives and preparations for audits.

Organisational applications include managing international data transfers and strengthening a privacy culture. The course addresses stakeholder trust and reputation for data protection, alongside the competitive implications of sound governance. Case discussions and practical exercises support plans for improving corporate governance within delegates' organisations.
