Standard spreadsheet models struggle when managing multiple linked tables containing hundreds of thousands of records. Traditional VLOOKUP solutions degrade file performance and introduce calculation errors. Power Pivot addresses these limitations by introducing a high-performance relational database engine directly into Excel. Training prepares analytical teams to construct scalable, multi-table business models.

The programme progresses systematically through the stages of modern data preparation and modelling. Delegates configure data connections, evaluate cardinality and manage filter propagation across normalised schemas. They explore Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), moving from core arithmetic like SUM and AVERAGE to sophisticated time intelligence, row context and filter context calculations.
