Course overview

Demanding jobs and limited resources place attention on how people perform. The course examines five elements in the SUPER formula and their multiplicative relationship, using S×U×P×E×R to express performance as a percentage. A development map considers its 100% performance target, while practical work addresses short-term and long-term activities for improving skills and obtaining time for focused work.

Productivity also depends on other people. A relationship matrix and responsometer help delegates consider the responsiveness of important colleagues and the trust that supports working partnerships. Integrity, intent, capabilities and results form the four-part trust framework. Personal energy sessions address habits, drains and physical warning signs, before organisational relevance and a relevance compass connect task choices with goals. The time matrix, return on time, Kaizen and the conscious competence learning matrix provide further tools for examining personal development and priorities.
